I was born in 1945 in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. In 1971 I was graduated from Chernivtsi State university as an optical-physicist. In 1982 I was awarded with the Science degree of Candidate of Science (Ph.D.) of physics. From 1990 the associate professor of the Chernivtsi State university, faculty of physics.
I started to make photos in 1961. I am a member of The Ukrainian Union of Art Photographers from 1988. Awarded with Artslink Fellowship in 1997 (The Friends of Photography, San Francisco, USA).
